HAZLET, NJ — A spa on Highway 36 in Hazlet was raided earlier this month after police said they found multiple acts of prostitution occurring there.
Hazlet police started investigating New Look Spa at 1222 Highway 36 in January of 2018 after they said they received numerous reports of "illegal acts" occurring at that location. Police did not specify what those illegal acts were.
However, Hazlet police visited the spa multiple times during the months of January and February: On Feb. 16, a 66-year-old-man from East Brunswick was arrested and charged with engaging in prostitution, police said.
