There will be a three-mile indoor walk March 30 at Bell Works for a Holmdel toddler who died suddenly. The walk will raise research funds.

HOLMDEL, NJ — There will be a three-mile indoor walk this Saturday, March 30 at Bell Works in memory of a Holmdel toddler who died suddenly — and for no explained reason — two years ago.
Two-year-old Vienna Savino died on Nov. 12, 2017 due to a category of death called SUDC, Sudden Unexplained Death in Childhood. You can read this article Patch wrote about her death: Holmdel Family Raises Awareness Of SUDC After Toddler Girl Dies
Vienna died when she was just shy of 3 years old. She had a light fever that morning, and then that evening simply fell asleep and never woke up, her mother told Patch in the earlier article.

To this day, there still remains no explanation for what caused the otherwise healthy little girl to die, even after an autopsy, medical record review and genetic studies were done. Vienna's parents are both doctors, as well.
The Savino family, who live in Holmdel, now have a mission to raise awareness and research for SUDC. The walk will be from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday and it's a three-mile course inside the labyrinth of Bell Works. So far, about 150 people have signed up.
