HOLMDEL and HAZLET, NJ—After two years of cancellations and modifications, residents in cities and counties across the country are looking forward to many of the traditional Independence Day activities that mark the summer holiday. July 4 is tomorrow, so there's still time to find out what Fourth of July fireworks and festivities are going on near you in 2022.
We have all the fireworks shows, parades and festivals happening in and around Holmdel and Hazlet so you can start planning now.

July 4 Festivities
What: Traditional Fireworks Display
Where: Veterans Park, 1776 Union Ave., Hazlet.
When: July 3, 8:30 p.m. (moved from July 2).
All are invited to Hazlet's annual fireworks display in celebration of Independence Day.
The event is rescheduled for Sunday, July 3, around 8:30 pm.
The fireworks go off from Veterans Park at 1776 Union Avenue in Hazlet, and can be seen in parking lots and backyards all around.
Watching them with family and friends is a tradition in Hazlet. There will be food trucks at Veterans Park. Parking is available at the Swim Club Parking lot.

And in Holmdel, if you still haven't had enough fireworks, Bell Works in Holmdel has a display on July 6:

What: "Red, White and Boom!" fireworks display
Where: Bell Works, 101 Crawfords Corner Road, Holmdel.
When: 9:15 p.m. Wednesday, July 6. The rain date is July 7.
Organizers say guests can bring their own chair and enjoy the display in the Bell Works parking lots. Park in Lots 1 and 2, then head over to Lots 3 and 4 to see the fireworks. The Block is open so the public can come inside to cool down and enjoy food options, entertainment, and restrooms. More information is available at the Bell Works events site.
