HOLMDEL, NJ-- A Keansburg man was indicted on charges of assaulting a police officer, prosecutors said. Leonard Reyes, 28, was indicted on charges stemming from an August 2016 incident. Prosecutors said he committed aggravated assault against a Holmdel police officer, a third degree crime.Reyes was also indicted on charges for resisting arrest in Holmdel, a third degree crime. HOLMDEL, NJ-- A Keansburg man was indicted on charges of assaulting a police officer, prosecutors said.

Leonard Reyes, 28, was indicted on charges stemming from an August 2016 incident. Prosecutors said he committed aggravated assault against a Holmdel police officer, a third degree crime.Reyes was also indicted on charges for resisting arrest in Holmdel, a third degree crime.

He was also charged with resisting arrest.
