It’s been named the best diner in New Jersey, according to NJ.com. Keyport is becoming a dining hot spot, with Drew’s Bayshore Bistro and Lenora’s Cafe also mentioned. Standouts that received rave reviews from NJ.com testers include:

Slow-cooked Smoked Brisket Hash and Eggs

Chocolate babka French toast — “soft and moist in the middle, with the berries giving a weird cooling touch to it.’’

La Bamba Bowl (scrambled eggs, chorizo, peppers, onions, cheddar, topped with pico de gallo) — “fantastic”

Broiled stuffed fish filet — “outstanding”

Lobster Bisque — “May be the best I’ve ever had”
