Keyport Shop-In a Boost for Local Business

Keyport is once again a summer destination for shopping, dining, music and more. On July 10, the Keyport Bayfront Business Cooperative hosted the first Keyport Shop-In by closing down West Front Street and inviting local business owners to showcase their goods outside and in the crowds.

“Last night, we did have some sales, and definitely new people came into  my store. That is exactly what we want,” said Robert Moscato of Honey Hole Antiques.

All summer long, the Keyport Bayfront Business Cooperative is sponsoring Thursday events from the afternoon Farmer’s market at Fireman’s Park to the Summer Concert Series in Minipark. The events are free and open to all, giving business owners a chance to capitalize on increased foot traffic and an increased sense of community.
