'Large' Police Presence Near Hazlet Train Station Wednesday: PD

Hazlet residents were urged to lock their doors and cars in a Wednesday night alert from Hazlet police.

HAZLET, NJ - Hazlet residents were urged to lock their doors and cars in a Wednesday night alert from Hazlet police.

According to a message sent around 8:31 p.m. by the Hazlet Township Police Department, "there will be a larger than usual police presence in the area north of the train station" on Wednesday night.

"Stay clear of the area. Lock your doors and lock your cars," the message read.
