Laurel Avenue Closed Due To Downed Telephone Pole: Police
Laurel Avenue is closed as of Tuesday morning, Hazlet police said. Here's where the closure affects:
HAZLET, NJ — The Hazlet Township Police Department announced that Laurel Avenue is closed as of Tuesday morning due to a downed telephone pole.
"There is a detour set up around Laurel Ave near Helfrich Bus station. Please use caution and drive slowly while using the detour or avoid the area completely," police wrote in an alert.
JCPL is currently on scene working to fix the issue. However, there is no estimated time as to when the roadway will reopen.
