According to a White House fact sheet from March of this year, the entire country faces an unprecedented mental health crisis among people of all ages. Two out of five adults report symptoms of anxiety or depression. Even before the pandemic, rates of depression and anxiety were inching higher. But the grief, trauma and physical isolation of the last two years have increased mental health concerns.
The Holmdel Chamber connects to the community in four "pillars," organizers said: business, government, health and wellness and nonprofit connections. Its monthly panels address those areas in turn and members each partner with a nonprofit as part of membership in the chamber.
