Longstreet Farm's Harvest Home Festival Is Sunday

Held from 11 a.m.-5 p.m. Sunday, September 30 in Holmdel, this old-fashioned country fair brings visitors back to the 1890s.

HOLMDEL, NJ — Guess the weight of the big pumpkin, try your hand in the corn husking competition, or dive into the pie-eating contest at Historic Longstreet Farm’s Harvest Home Festival this Sunday, Sept. 30!

Held from 11 a.m.-5 p.m. on Sunday, September 30 at Historic Longstreet Farm, 44 Longstreet Road, Holmdel, this old-fashioned country fair brings visitors back to the 1890s through games, music and entertainment.

Throughout the day, see ongoing craft demonstrations of rug hooking, quilting, felting and more. There will also be beekeeping, blacksmithing, cider making and corn-shelling demonstrations. Entertainment highlights include the Jugtown Mountain Band, Chorus of the Atlantic, magician Denny More, the “Wahoo” Medicine Show and the “Phydeauz” Flea Circus.
