Man Hit, Killed In Hazlet Identified As Neptune Resident
Robert Pisano, 54, of Neptune, was walking on Hwy. 36 just east of Middle Road in Hazlet at approximately 2:24 a.m. Monday when he was hit.

HAZLET, NJ — The Monmouth County prosecutor's office released the identity of the 54-year old man who died as a result of being struck by a motor vehicle on Highway 36 early Monday morning in Hazlet.
Robert Pisano, 54, of Neptune, was walking in the area of State Highway 36 just east of Middle Road in Hazlet at approximately 2:24 a.m. Monday morning, Jan. 21 when he was struck by a
westbound 2008 Dodge Avenger, driven by John F. Hermans, of Yonkers, New York.
Hermans was uninjured in the collision and remained at the scene.

The crash remains under investigation by the Monmouth County Prosecutor’s Office, and the Hazlet Police Department. The crash scene was assisted by the Monmouth County Serious Collision Analysis Response Team (SCART).
