Mask Mandate Ending Soon For Hazlet Public Schools
Wearing a facial covering will become optional for all students and staff starting March 7.
HAZLET, NJ — Under Gov. Phil Murphy's lift on the mask mandate, Hazlet will join other public school districts in eliminating its face mask policy. Starting on March 7, facial coverings will become optional for all Hazlet students and staff.
In a public statement, Hazlet Township Public School Superintendent, Dr. Scott Ridley said:
"As I have shared many times—this has always been an Executive Action, ordered by the Governor and now that he has provided an end-date for this Directive, we will follow suit."
