Middletown Board Of Education 2016 Election Results Are In: Little, Caminiti & Donlon Prevail
Only one of the two incumbents running was re-elected.

MIDDLETOWN, NJ— John Little Jr., Leonora Caminiti, and Michael Donlon have been elected to the Middletown Board of Education, according to online election results.
Little had 9,754 votes, Caminiti took home 9,754, and Donlon received 9,110.
Donlon is an incumbent; both Little and Caminiti are first time members.

"I am humbled by all of the support I have received," Little told Patch. "There were six very good candidates who ran in this election and that is good news for Middletown."
Vincent Brand, a current member of the board, was not re-elected. He took to Facebook, where he posted a concession speech:

Donald 'DJ' Hager, who stressed his status as a recent graduate from the Middletown school system, thanked voters for their support.
"Congratulations to Mrs. Caminiti, Mr. Little and Mr. Donlon on their win. Mr. Higgins and I were very close and I congratulate him as well," Hager told Patch. "To come in 4th and receive 8,377 votes from our community means a great deal to me."
Frank Higgins had a similar sentiment as Hager, thanking his supporters and congratulating all.
"It was truly a great experience and I was honored to see all the support I received. Best of luck to Mrs Caminiti, Mr Little and Mr Donlon. I look forward to seeing their work on the Board," Higgins told Patch. "Also congrats to Mr Brand and Mr Hagar for their campaign efforts."
