Police in Monmouth County recently arrested residents of Holmdel, Freehold, Colts Neck, Middletown, Manalapan, Red Bank, and Aberdeen.
According to police in Holmdel, Middletown, Aberdeen and Manalapan:
On July 13, at 1:34 p.m., Manalapan Officer Reggie Grant and Officer Aaron Abeles conducted an investigative stop on Winter Court. Daniel Summonte, a 19-year-old Freehold man, was found to be in possession of marijuana. Summonte was charged with operating a motor vehicle while in possession of CDS and possessing marijuana under 50 grams. Summonte was processed and released on a summons with a pending court date.

On July 14, Brian Kavanagh, 49, from Swimming River Road in Colts Neck, was arrested by Middletown Patrolman Ryan Riffert on a charge of Disorderly Conduct. He was released pending a court date.
On July 15, Middletown Patrolman Nicholas Haines took two 17-year-old boys from Red Bank into custody. One was charged with Possession of under 50 Grams of Marijuana and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. The other was charged with Possession of Psilocybin Mushrooms. Both were released pending court dates.

On July 15, William McPartland, 59, from Oceanview Avenue in Keansburg, was arrested by Middletown Patrolman Raymond Sofield on a charge of Driving While Intoxicated. He was released pending a court date.
At 12:34 p.m. on July 15, an employee of Kinder Care in Manalapan reported that someone had entered the building after hours. The interior was ransacked and three digital cameras, with an approximate value of $380.00, were stolen. The theft occurred sometime between 6:37 p.m. on July 14 and 6:30 a.m. on July 15. Anyone with further information regarding this incident is urged to contact the Manalapan Township Police Department. The report was handled by Officer Brian Schank.
At 4:43 p.m., July 15, Manalapan patrols responded to a Route 33 home, where a 39-year-old male resident was stabbed with a screwdriver multiple times. The defendant, Marc Fisher, 68, who also lived there, was arrested and charged with aggravated assault and unlawful possession of a weapon. Fisher was sent to the Monmouth County jail, Freehold Township. Patrolman Matt Porricelli handled the arrest.
Jozef Sieredzinski, 49, Aberdeen, was arrested on July 15 in Aberdeen on charges of simple assault, terroristic threats, and unlawful possession of a weapon following an incident on Texas Road in Aberdeen. Officer Matthew McDow the arresting officer.
Around 2:15 a.m., July 16, Holmdel Sgt. Edward Martinez was on patrol when he stopped a 2000 black VW for a motor vehicle violation. Upon further investigation it was determined that the driver, Michael Drake, 21, of Holmdel, was driving while intoxicated. Drake was also found to be in possession of CDS and drug paraphernalia. He was processed and released, pending a court date.
Around 10:30 p.m. July 16, Holmdel Officer Thomas Foley stopped a 2010 black Honda for a motor vehicle violation on Van Schoick Road. Further investigation revealed that occupants were smoking marijuana in the vehicle, and after routine questioning, it was determined that the three occupants, David Benjamin, 20, Barbara Guevara, 20, and Henry Suarez Castro, 18, all of Paterson, were all in possession of CDS. All were processed and released, pending a court date.
On July 17, Jake Fay, 22, from Nut Swamp Road in Red Bank, was arrested by Middletown Detective Kimberly Best on charges of Burglary and Theft. He was released pending a court date.
On July 17, John Balzer, 27, from Cherry Tree Farm Road in Middletown, was arrested in town by Patrolman Nicholas Haines on charges of Simple Assault, Possession of Heroin and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. He was released after posting $9,000 bail.
Around 3 p.m. July 19, while on patrol at the Englishtown Auction, Manalapan Officer Christopher Makwinski and Officer Reginald Grant responded to a fight in progress within the auction. Patrols met with a 65-year-old Old Bridge man, and a 48-year-old Piscataway man. Both parties related they fought over business issues, and did not wish to sign complaints against each other. Officer Christopher Makwinski handled the report.
On July 19, Morgan Jenkins, 29, from River Street in Red Bank, was arrested by Middletown Patrolman Nicholas Haines on a charge of Possession of under 50 Grams of Marijuana. He was released pending a court date.
A 17-year-old Aberdeen resident was taken into custody on charges of possession of drug paraphernalia and receiving stolen property following an incident at Ken Gardens, Matawan Avenue, Aberdeen, on July 20.
Officer Raymond Campbell was the arresting officer. Someone attempted to use a counterfeit $100 bill to purchase tickets at Bowtie Cinema, Route 34, Aberdeen on July 20. Officer Bart Szulczynski took the report.
Jose Humberto Garcia, 42, Aberdeen, was arrested on charges of criminal mischief, unlawful possession of a weapon, and possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose following an incident on Hawthorne Street, Aberdeen on July 21. Officer Raymond Campbell the arresting officer. He was assisted by Officer Bart Szulczynski and Sgt. David Mauro.
