Monmouth County Schools Participate In County Poster Contest
All school principals in Monmouth County are being asked to have each fourth-grade student involved by creating his or her own poster.
MONMOUTH COUNTY, NJ — All fourth-grade students in Monmouth County are being asked to take part in the annual "My County" poster contest to commemorate County Government Month.
The contest, which is sponsored by the Constitutional Officers Association of New Jersey, asks students to create his or her own county poster. The posters created should depict unique aspects of Monmouth County and how they relate to county government.
Monmouth County Sheriff Shaun Golden, Clerk Christine Giordano Hanlon, and Surrogate Maureen Raisch are the contest's leaders.

From the entries received in their respective counties, members of the County Officers Association will select the winning posters. The top three poster winners will receive prizes. Nine posters will receive honorable mention, and all twelve posters will be placed in county administrative buildings.
Listed below are the official contest rules:

- Posters must be on a standard 22-inch by 28-inch poster board.
- The words "Monmouth County" must appear at the top of the poster in 4-inch letters with black marker.
- The student's name, teacher's name and school must be printed in the lower right-hand corner on the back of the poster.
All posters must be mailed or delivered to the Monmouth County Sheriff's Office at 2500 Kozloski Rd by Monday, May 2, 2022.
