Monmouth Medical Center Presents Bereavement Support Group at New Location and Time
Monmouth Medical Center invites all individuals mourning the loss of a loved one to its weekly Bereavement Support Group.
The holidays are a time for family gatherings and celebration, but they can also be one of the most difficult times of the year for someone grieving a loss. Monmouth Medical Center invites all individuals mourning the loss of a loved one to its weekly Bereavement Support Group.
Now taking place at the Monmouth County Library – Eastern Branch, the Bereavement Support Group is designed to take provide a supportive and safe environment for those experiencing grief and provides attendees an outlet to express their feelings. Throughout the month of November, the group will discuss strategies for navigating the holidays after a loss. Bereavement Support Group weekly on Mondays from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. as is facilitated by experienced professionals.
The Monmouth County Library – Eastern Branch is located at 1001 Route 35 in Shrewsbury. There is no cost to participate in the group; however, registration is required. For questions or to register, please call Janet Freed, chaplain and bereavement counselor at 845-642-0935.
