'The NeverEnding Story' Playing at This Monmouth County Movie Theater

The movie will be shown Sept. 4 and 7 at two movie theaters in Monmouth County.

Hazlet, NJ - "The NeverEnding Story" returns to select movie theaters for a two-day, nationwide run on Sept. 4 and 7. And one of those theaters is the Rave Cinemas Hazlet 12 in Hazlet, NJ.

Screenings will take place at 2 and 7 p.m. on those two dates ONLY. It will also be playing at the Monmouth Mall 15 movie theater in Eatontown. The upcoming screenings will be the first time the beloved movie has been seen in theaters for more than three decades. Tickets can be purchased online here, or at participating theater box offices. “While avoiding bullies on his way to school, Bastian (Barret Oliver) ducks into a bookstore where he finds an intriguing book called 'The NeverEnding Story.' Despite warnings of the book’s special powers, Bastian sneaks away and begins reading it in his school’s attic. Through the twists and turns of the book’s fantasy land, Fantasia, Bastian discovers that the kingdom needs the help of a human child to survive The Nothing – a darkness that destroys everything it touches. When Bastian reads a description of himself in the book, he begins to wonder if Fantasia may actually be real.”
