New Vacancy Opens Up on Holmdel School Board
Board member Dina D'Ambrosi resigned, creating a new opening in addition to the regular School Board election.

Holmdel, NJ - A Holmdel Board of Education member has moved away, created a new vacancy on the school board, in addition to the other six candidates who are running for election this fall.
Board member Dina D'Ambrosi had to move out of state due to a job transfer, creating a vacancy on the board. Any Holmdel resident is encouraged to apply for her spot. The position is unique: It will be chosen by the eight current Board of Ed. members, who will conduct interviews starting Aug. 31. This will be for a special one-year term on the board, after which the seat will come up for a general public election.
In addition to this new vacancy, there are six people running for the Holmdel School Board in the regular general election. Applications were due this past Monday, and here are the six candidates:

All of those people seek three-year terms to the board. The regular election for the Holmdel Board of Ed. is the same day as the presidential election, Tuesday Nov. 8.
