Holmdel 'Night of Hoops' a Big Success

The following is an announcement from Timothy McDonnell, regarding the "Night of Hoops" event held Thursday.

         [The Jan. 26] fundraiser for Project Graduation 2012 was a huge success at the Holmdel vs. Rumson boys basketball game. 

The 13-2 Holmdel Hornets beat Rumson 52-35 before a packed gym at Holmdel High School. 

The event sponsored by the My Three Sons Foundation and the Holmdel Athletic Department raised $1,000 for Project Graduation and was a great experience for all those who attended with special give a ways and contests. 

Special thanks to Best Buy, Cheeburger Cheeburger and to Tony Balzofiore for supplying the Hornets Nest t-shirts which were given away for free to the first 100 students. 

Our purpose was to generate some “school spirit” and raise money for the Class of 2012 and those goals were met. 

The next home game is Monday, February 6 vs, St. John Vianney at 6:30.
