Obituary: Elizabeth N. (Gall) Oblazney, 102, of Hazlet

Elizabeth N. (Gall) Oblazney, 102, of Hazlet, passed away, Thursday, November 28, 2013, at Arnold Walter Nursing and Rehabilitation, Holmdel.  

Born in Sibly, PA, she resided in North Arlington before moving to Hazlet.  She was a homemaker and a communicant of St. Benedict RC Church, Holmdel and a member of the Middle Road Village Seniors, Hazlet.

Elizabeth was predeceased by her beloved husband, Frank Oblazney in 1961; her parents, John Kanty Gall and Anna Klamerus; her siblings, Tom Gall; Matilda Brunig; Joseph Gall, Julianne Butcavage and Andy Gall.  

She is survived by her loving children, Chester Oblazney of Hazlet; Mary Ann Farnsworth-Couch, Pinehurst, NC; and Edward Oblazney of Williamsburg, VA; her dear siblings, Genevieve Suecolsky of Scranton, PA; Theresa O’Mara of Mallory, NY; Theodore Gall of Rochester, NY; and Henry Gall of Freehold; five cherished grandchildren; seven precious great grandchildren and one adored great great grandchild.  She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Family and friends are invited Monday, December 2, 2013, from 2-6PM at Day Funeral Home, 361 Maple Place, Keyport, NJ  07735; and Tuesday, December 3, 2013, 9:30AM with a 10:30AM  Mass at St. Benedict RC Church, 165 Bethany Road, Holmdel, NJ  07733.  Cremation is private.  Burial of cremains will take place at Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington at a later date.
