Parent Group Donates $19,592 Worth of Goods to Indian Hill School
The donation was gratefully accepted by the Board of Education at its last meeting. It is described here by Lucia Van Name, who was 2010-2011 President of the Indian Hill School PLG

At the completion of the 2010/2011 school year, the Indian Hill Parent Liaison Group gifted Indian Hill School over $19,000.00 worth of items.
With the guidance of the Interim Principal Susan McGinty and Assistant Principal Donato Saponaro, some wonderful items will be awaiting the students and faculty of Indian Hill when they return to school in September.
A beautiful 8 x 8 rubber mat reading "Welcome to Indian Hill" will greet visitors as they enter the main entrance of the school.

Sixty-five NOOK Color reader's tablets will be dispersed amongst the Literacy classes with the hope of one day providing enough Nooks so that each student will have one for their personal classroom use.

Fifteen IPEVOs will be purchased to add to the existing IPEVOs allowing every classroom in Indian Hill to possess their very own IPEVO!
IPEVOs provide live image capture for documents, pictures, textbooks, and three-dimensional objects. It looks like a book light. It gives the instructor the ability to focus on his or her document or a student's work and places the image where the entire class can view it. She or he is then able to make corrections or have discussions with everybody seeing the document.
The PLG is very excited with these gifts, as they will affect every student at Indian Hill.
