Perna Dance Center To Perform In Holmdel Dec. 20

A full week of performances for the traveling Yuletide Magic Dance Troupe ends with Holly Dolls at Old Navy in Holmdel on Saturday!

To finish off a week of amazing dancing events, the Perna Dance Center will be doing our first ever Holly Dolls at Old Navy in the Holmdel Shopping Center from 1:00 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Saturday, December 20. Rather than fighting the crowds in NYC to see the beautiful windows, join us at Old Navy to experience the beauty of Christmas and get some shopping done at the same time!

The Perna Dance Center would also like to thank everyone who attended our 27th Annual Yuletide Magic performance at Raritan High School. As always it was a huge success and enjoyed by hundreds of family, friends and citizens of our great communities. We were so honored to have Deputy Mayor Joseph Belasco and new RAINE President Carolyn Andress speak before and after our showcase. Thank you to all who attended and donated to the RAINE Foundation.

Just when we thought we could put up our dancing feet, on Sunday December 14th we were thrilled to be part of the Middletown North High School North Pole organized by the Senior Class of 2015. Alongside Santa Claus himself and the princesses from Frozen, we shared our Christmas cheer for all to hear in the North cafeteria. Such a spectacular event that we hope to make an annual stop with our Yuletide Magic Holiday Troupe.

This morning we are massaging our toes after an event that makes us all excited and gets us in the spirit as we danced our way into the hearts of the shoppers of Monmouth Mall in Eatontown. This is our second time at the mall this season as we had also participated in welcoming Santa Claus at the PJ Party in November. Last night our Christmas Trees and Gingerbread Girls and Boys stole the show with Christmas classics while our Toy Soldiers and Santatown Dancers made people feel they were actually at Radio City Music Hall seeing the Rockettes.

Over the next few evenings, we’ve been invited to dance for local retirement communities allowing the residents of Seabrook Village in Tinton Falls and Shadowlake Village of Lincroft, the VIP treatment of private performances. We’ve also been invited to We Care Day Care in Union Square in Middletown for their Caregiver Appreciation Day on Saturday. We enjoy dancing for the retirement communities as there always promises to be some grandparents or aunts and uncles in the audience.

All this dancing will surely make us tired but we really do love this time of year as we know how much our dancing, costumes and enthusiasm for the holidays makes others smile.

Thank you to all our parents and Dancers for their time and dedication during the 3 weeks of rehearsals and the full week of performances. We truly do appreciate everything you do for us and with us during this busy time of year.
