Photo Of Bike Hit In Holmdel Crash Sunday

Here's how serious that bike accident at Crawfords Corner and Timberdale Drive really was, courtesy of Holmdel First Aid.

HOLMDEL, NJ — On Tuesday, we reported that a woman riding her bike was hit by a car Sunday in Holmdel and suffered serious, but non-life threatening injuries. Now the Holmdel First Aid Squad released this photo of her damaged bike, which shows just how serious this accident really was.

The incident happened at 11:10 a.m. Sunday on Crawfords Corner Road near Timberdale Drive, police said. When she was knocked off her bike, the woman was temporarily knocked unconscious, but she did regain consciousness before being taken to Jersey Shore Medical Center. The driver who hit her stayed on the scene. No charges were filed.

Ambulance 1858 of Holmdel First Aid and Monoc Paramedics responded.
