In the Republican primary in Holmdel, Thomas Critelli, who has the backing of the Monmouth County Republican Organization, beat Anne Morrison, who was on the Saving Holmdel ticket, according to unofficial results from the Monmouth County Clerk’s Office.

Critelli got 318 votes - or about 71 percent, while Morrison received 130 votes, or about 29 percent.

Democrat Karen Strickland ran unopposed.

In Hazlet, where there are two open township committee seats, three Republicans were running:

Monmouth County Republican Organization candidates Thomas G. Mann and William Shea, and Standing Up for Hazlet Residents candidate Deanna M. De’Liberto.

With 14 of the 17 districts reporting results:

Mann garnered 164 votes, Shea had 181 votes, and De’Liberto received 68 votes.

Democrats James DiNardo and Barabara Ronchetti ran unopposed.

Results do not include mail-in or provision ballots.
