Sedan Collides With Holmdel School Bus Wednesday Afternoon: Cops

HOLMDEL, NJ - A four-door sedan collided with a school bus near Bethany Road this week, authorities said.

The incident occurred Wednesday at around 12:43 p.m., a spokesman from the Holmdel Township Police Department said. The school bus was reportedly “tapped in the back by the sedan,” police said.

Although there were several children on board the bus at the time of the incident, only the driver of the sedan reported a minor injury. There were no hospitalizations associated with the event.

The spokesperson told Patch that Bethany Road was closed for around 20 minutes following the collision.
