Serious Car Accident On Parkway In Holmdel Sunday Night
It required "an extensive search" last night to even locate the car, which had driven off a steep embankment and into the woods.

HOLMDEL, NJ — The Holmdel First Aid Squad and Holmdel Fire & Rescue had to use the "jaws of life" to pull a man out of this car crash Sunday night off the Garden State Parkway. It took rescue crews some time to even locate the car in the dark, which had driven off a steep embankment and into the woods.
The crash happened at 9:25 p.m. Sunday, in the area of mile marker 114 in Holmdel.
After "an extensive search," New Jersey State Police, Holmdel First Aid and Holmdel Fire & Rescue Company #2 located the car and found the man trapped inside. They had to use the jaws of life to free him, and he was taken to Jersey Shore Medical Center with serious injuries.
