Tenth Heroin Arrest in One Week in Keansburg
A woman was stopped by police on Shore Boulevard Monday afternoon in the tenth heroin arrest in seven days.

Police arrested a woman Monday afternoon for marijuana and heroin possession in Keansburg, a town that ranks high in Monmouth County for the most heroin treatment admissions.
Erica Chapman, 34, of Piscataway, was stopped by police just before 1 p.m. Monday in the area of Shore and Beacon blvds. after someone called in to report that she looked suspicious.
Police found heroin and marijuana on her, officials charge. Chapman was also wanted on outstanding warrants from Keansburg Municipal Court and Monmouth County Superior Court.

This is the tenth person arrested for heroin in Keansburg in just one week. Amber Lucisano was arrested Nov. 23. Three people were arrested and 20 bags of heroin were seized from a car on Rt. 36 on Nov. 27. Finally, police arrested five people in a heroin raid on Crescent Street Sunday night.
