St. John Vianney Brothers Commit to Rutgers Football

SJV's Jamaal Beaty and Micah Clark signed letters of intent this week to play RU football.

HOLMDEL, NJ - Two seniors at St. John Vianney high school in Holmdel signed letters of intent this week to play football for Rutgers University, starting this year. Both Jamaal Beaty and Micah Clark play offensive and defensive line for SJV, and are more than just teammates — they are in fact brothers. They will enroll early at Rutgers, starting classes very soon in the Spring 2017 semester.

"Rutgers is getting two outstanding individuals," SJV's athletic director Richard Lamberson told Patch. "I am looking forward to following their career over the next few years at RU, and wish them nothing but the best in all of their future endeavors."
