State Police Searching For Two Suspected Of Theft In Holmdel, Cops Say

State Police are asking for the public’s help in their search for two people who they say are suspected of stealing a woman’s purse in Holmdel.

On July 29, the woman was sitting in the lawn section during an event at the PNC Bank Arts Center when she realized her purse had been stolen, State Police said.

The Smashing Pumpkins & Marilyn Manson: The End Times Tour was the scheduled event at the arts center that night.

Detectives determined a gift card from the stolen pocketbook was used on July 30 at a store in Fairfield, police said.

Police released a photo from the store’s surveillance system.
