Stolen BMW Convertible Sought By Holmdel Police
Police seek information about a silver BMW convertible, later determined to be stolen from another town, headed toward Hazlet Tuesday a.m.
HOLMDEL, NJ — Police here are seeking information about a silver BMW convertible that sped away when police neared it Tuesday morning.
At around 8 a.m. Tuesday, patrols responded to a call about a car that seemed suspicious, the silver BMW convertible, police said. It was on Tiberon Drive near Schanck Road, police said in a Facebook post.
Patrol vehicles arrived and located the vehicle in the area. But then it "recklessly sped off" toward Marlboro, police said.

The vehicle was later found to be stolen out of another jurisdiction and was tracked to the areas of Yellowbrook Road, Parkway Place, and Palmer Avenue.
The vehicle was last seen heading into Hazlet on Palmer Avenue. It was still not located as of 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, police said.
