Summer Markets, Live Music & More: This Weekend In Monmouth County

MONMOUTH COUNTY, NJ — The weekend has officially arrived.

As the summer season continues, there’s plenty of weekend events happening along the Jersey Shore.

Whether you’re looking to shop local, hear some live music, or take part in a 5K and one-mile walk, here are five local events you can check out this weekend:

Fresh Saturday Market

• Date: Saturday
• Location: Bell Works (101 Crawfords Corner Road, Holmdel)
• Details: Join Bell Works for their monthly Saturday Fresh Market in the Main Atrium from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., where you can shop local makers, bakers and more. Live music from 12-3 p.m.

Haskell Preview Day & Beach Tote Giveaway

• Date: Saturday
• Location: Monmouth Park (Oceanport Avenue, Oceanport)
• Details: Take part in Haskell Preview Day, featuring five stakes races on the road to Haskell Day and a free beach tote giveaway to the first 5,000 paying fans. Tickets required.

High Tide Makers & Artisan Market

• Date: Saturday
• Location: Pier Village (50 Chelsea Avenue, Long Branch)
• Details: Shop from a collection of local makers, artists and creatives along the Jersey Shore offering items ranging from handmade jewelry to artwork and home decor.

Stars & Strides Flag Day 5K & 1-Mile Freedom Walk

• Date: Sunday
• Location: Bell Works (101 Crawfords Corner Road, Holmdel)
• Details: Join in a celebration of America’s semi-quincentennial with a course “bursting with patriotic spirit, high-energy music,” and more. You can register here.

Bands By The Beach

• Date: Sunday
• Location: West End Park (Long Branch)
• Details: Join the City of Long Branch for their 2026 Bands By The Beach Concert Series. Soulstirs will be the featured band on Sunday. In case of inclement weather, shows will be moved to the Long Branch Senior Center.
