Swing Loose Indoor Golf Gets Warm Welcome At Bell Works
Officials, Friends, Family & Businesses Gathered To Toast The Virtual Golf Venue on 2/25. A Community Open House Is Slated for 3/4, 1-8 p.m.
The newest addition to 'The Block At Bell Works' in Holmdel, Swing Loose Indoor Golf officially opened for business on Tuesday, February 25. Pete Myers and James Fiore, two entrepreneurs who are avid golfers, are the owners. The duo, who have extensive experience in finance, met while attending Villanova University and had always talked about owning a golf-related business. While they discussed the possibility of purchasing a country club, instead the idea of opening an indoor virtual golf range took hold. They took a gamble on the Bell Works location, knowing that the immediate area is full of golfers.
Several dozen people including elected officials, members of the Holmdel Chamber of Commerce, friends, patrons, and family gathered at a ribbon cutting ceremony to celebrate the opening. Assemblywoman Serena DiMaso and Assemblyman Gerard Scharfenberger attended to personally welcome the new owners, who were joined by their wives, children and parents as both DiMaso and Scharfenberger presented joint resolutions honoring the opening of the business. Senator Declan O'Scanlon sent his best regards through a resolution prepared by his office and read by Assemblywoman DiMaso. Former Holmdel Mayor Eric Hinds was also in attendance, along with leaders of the Holmdel Chamber of Commerce, Jeanne & Terrance Wall, with a large contingent of chamber members to welcome the new enterprise.
On Wednesday, March 4 from 1-8 p.m., Swing Loose Golf will hold a community open house. The public is invited. Light refreshments will be served, and staff will be on hand to answer questions. There will also be contests, prizes, golf demonstrations, and tours.

The virtual golf range has 6 simulator bays and utilizes the latest technology - TRACKMAN - for those who want to play and improve. The technology actually analyzes the player's game, projecting each shot's trajectory on a 9-foot by 16-foot movie screen. Players of all ages and skill levels use real golf clubs and golf balls, and through the simulator, can play on over 60 international golf courses, just like professional golfers. The simulator also provides 26 impact and ball flight parameters within one second. Swing Loose Indoor Golf is also a great place for corporate team-building events and outings, and family gatherings. A single bay can accommodate a single player or a foursome for play and/or competition. Hourly rentals are offered as well as three different levels of membership.
