Tires, Rims Stolen from SUVs in Holmdel

Thefts were Sunday, Monday and Tuesday of this week: 2 cars were left sitting on cinder blocks with all 4 tires, rims and lug nuts gone.

Holmdel, NJ - Someone has been stealing the tires and rims from SUVs in Holmdel this week, the police reported.

The thefts all occurred Sunday, Monday and Tuesday of this week, Sept. 11-13, from large SUVs, specifically a Cadillac Escalade and a Chevy Suburban. There have been two incidents where the car owners found their vehicles in the driveway, sitting on cinder blocks with all four tires, rims and lug nuts missing, police said.

In both incidents the owner of the vehicle was at home at the time. If anyone should see anything suspicious or has information is asked to contact Det. Andrew Kret of the Holmdel Township Police Department at 732-946-4400 ext 1713 or akret@holmdelpolice.org.
