Toby Stark of Hazlet Named President of the New Jersey Association of Health Underwriters

Hazlet resident named president of the New Jersey Association of Health Underwriters

Toby Stark has been elected President of the New Jersey Association of Health Underwriters (NJAHU), a statewide organization representing licensed health insurance agents, brokers, consultants and benefit professionals in New Jersey who service the health insurance needs of large and small employers as well as individuals.

Stark, of Hazlet, is exceptionally qualified for the position of President. Stark has been active in the NJAHU since 2009. Previously, Stark served as state secretary and Conference Chair, as well as Legislative Chair of the Monmouth-Ocean Chapter of NJAHU.

Stark said this is a pivotal time for the association, headquartered in Newark. “My goal for NJAHU is to continue to engage our members, to listen to what our members want and encourage them to get more involved,” Stark said. “The NJAHU must continue to provide the most up-to-date information to our members about the constantly changing regulations they need to know. We serve as an important source of information for the legislators who craft those regulations.”

Stark is a principal at Stark Associates in Tinton Falls, responsible for growing and maintaining the book of business, while providing sales strategy and a wide variety of other services to his clients.
