Ever wanted to tour Bell Works? A Holmdel Twp. committeeman leads tours twice a month.

HOLMDEL, NJ — Ever been curious to take a peek inside Holmdel's historic Bell Works site? A Holmdel Twp. committeeman has been offering tours of the Bell Works facility twice a month to anyone who is interested.

The next tour, Wednesday, Aug. 9, is already booked and there is a waiting list, organizers say, but there will be future tours pending. The tour begins at 9 a.m., is 90 minutes long pending questions and is led by Holmdel Township Committeeman Eric Hinds.

Hinds talks about the history of the Bell Labs building, the development of modern-day Bell Works and the progress and future. The tour typically ends in the space where the new Holmdel public library will be. To reserve a spot on an upcoming tour, email 114htwp@gmail.com.
