Holmdel, NJ - A blue Ford pickup truck was stopped for speeding on Highway 35 in Holmdel Thursday night, and police said they found cocaine, Xanax and Oxycodone inside.
At midnight on Thursday, March 31, Patrolman Michael Moore of the Holmdel Police Department said he saw the blue Ford F-250 speeding down Highway 35 at Union Avenue.
He turned on his lights, and stopped the truck near the T-Mobile store in Hazlet. As soon as the truck stopped, the driver, identified as Gregory Harrison, 24, of Port Monmouth, quickly got out and approached the officer. Ptl. Moore told Harrison to get back in the truck and show his license and registration.

That's when the officer said he saw a clear plastic baggie sticking out of Harrison's pants pocket. The bag was later found to contain a white powdery substance believed to be cocaine. A subsequent search of Harrison and the truck found Harrison to be in possession of Alprazolam (Xanax) and Oxycodone, police said. Both of those items were also located in plastic bags and without prescriptions.
Harrison was placed under arrest for the alleged drug findings, and transported to the Holmdel Police Department where he was processed and released on a summons pending a court appearance.
