Tree Falls On Power Lines Near Schanck Road In Holmdel

HOLMDEL, NJ — During Sunday night's overnight thunderstorm, a tree fell on power lines near Schanck Road causing power outages around town, including in front of Holmdel High School, Holmdel Township announced. Multiple traffic lights are also out in the south side of Holmdel Township and many homes in the south side of Holmdel were without power Monday morning.

JCP&L is currently on site to remove the tree and repair the lines. They estimate power will be restored in 90 minutes.

A four-way stop has been set up in front of the high school at the intersection of Crawfords Corner Road and Longstreet Road Monday morning, but once power is restored that will be removed.
