Tree Trimming By JCP&L To Begin July 25 In Parts of Holmdel

As part of a "vegetation management' program, a contractor for JCP&L will be trimming trees along certain roads in Holmdel starting Monday.

HOLMDEL, NJ — A utility contractor will be trimming trees in certain areas of the township starting Monday, July 25, the township police department says.

Areas of Old Manor, Telegraph Hill Road and Holmdel Road are the locations of the program. NG Gilbert, a subcontractor of JCP&L/First Energy, will perform the work.

The purpose of the project is to maintain safe clearance between electric wires and trees.
