HOLMDEL, NJ — The Holmdel Township Board of Education held its annual organization meeting last Wednesday night, Jan. 2 at the William R. Satz School. The primary purpose of the meeting is to swear in newly-elected members and to elect the leadership of the board.

Based on the results of the November election, Vicky Flynn, Brian Foster and Terence Wall
were each sworn in for three-year terms. The oath of office was administered to Flynn and Foster by Assemblywoman Serena DiMaso and to Wall by Superior Court Judge Joseph Oxley.

The newly seated Board then elected its leadership for the year. Ms. Flynn was elected to continue as President while Eileen Briamonte was elected to serve as Vice President, replacing Chiung-Yin Cheng Liu, who now serves as Vice President of the Monmouth County School Boards Association.
