Volunteers Needed At Local Blood Drives
New Jersey Blood Services are looking for volunteers at all local blood drives.
MONMOUTH COUNTY, NJ — The New Jersey Blood Services (NJBS) have announced that they are in need of blood drive volunteers. As the omicron variant continues its spread, blood drive numbers have gone up and additional help is needed.
"The blood drive volunteer is an integral member of our team," said the NJBS in a public statement. Volunteers do not require a medical background and will be tasked with assisting donors with registration and manning the refreshment area.
In order to volunteer, you must be able to provide proof of COVID vaccination and have a mode of transportation available. All eligible volunteers should be outgoing and able to provide friendly customer service.
