14 Homes In Hazlet Lost Water Pressure Thursday

HAZLET, NJ —14 homes on or near Dover Court in Hazlet lost water Thursday afternoon after a water main ruptured.

The water main break occurred around 2 p.m. Thursday. The water main break occurred on Dover Court. An estimated 14 homes on Dover Court lost water pressure for 6-8 hours Thursday. There is no evidence of any contamination.

NJ American Water restored their service, but those 14 homes remain under a boil-water advisory until further notice. NJ American Water also provided bottled water to those 14 homes.
