What’s Open, Closed On Easter 2021 In Holmdel-Hazlet

HOLMDEL-HAZLET, NJ - Easter 2021 marks our second amid the coronavirus pandemic, which means many people in Holmdel and Hazlet and throughout our state will one again opt to forgo the traditional Easter celebrations for smaller, more socially distanced festivities.

Another pandemic Easter calls for a low-key day with close family. Whether you’re skipping the big meal, heading to a movie, or crossing items off your spring to-do list, it’s helpful to know which libraries, restaurants, and stores are open before you head out.

Here’s a look at what’s open and closed in Holmdel and Hazlet this Easter:

Monmouth County Library branches (including the Holmdel branch in Bell Works and the Hazlet branch) will be closed Friday and Sunday. The Holmdel and Hazlet branches will be open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday.

Hazlet Town Hall will be on a reduced schedule March 29 through April 1, closing at 4 p.m. instead of 5 p.m. The Hazlet DPW Recycling Yard will also be closed on April 2 in observance of Good Friday. Parks and playgrounds will remain open in Hazlet. Click here for a list of facilities.
