Eight candidates will pursue three open seats on the Hazlet Township Board of Education come November.

HAZLET, NJ - Eight candidates will pursue three open seats on the Hazlet Township Board of Education come November.
Incumbent Board of Education members George Theis, Steven Grossman and William J. Kolibas Jr. filed petitions to run for re-election by Monday's 4 p.m. deadline, according to the Monmouth County Clerk's Office.
Newcomers David Nathan Bibb, Jennifer Allgeier, Cindy Davis, Debra Wickenhauser and Dara Retig also also filed for the seats. Allgier, Davis and Wickenhauser filed under the slogan "4R Children's Future."

For a one-year unexpired term on the Hazlet Township Board of Education, David E. Asfour was the only candidate to file for the open seat.
