Zombies May Disturb Traffic Flow At Holmdel Filming Locations
Motorists can expect some closures on Route 35 in Holmdel this weekend near locations for a spinoff of "The Walking Dead," police say.
HOLMDEL, NJ — Motorists here can expect closures on Route 35 Friday night through Saturday morning, authorities say, but it's all for art.
And chatter on the Holmdel Police Department Facebook site speculate zombies may be in the picture.
Certain Holmdel locations were just perfect for a spinoff of "The Walking Dead" zombie franchise, police here confirmed. The Holmdel Motor Inn and a closed garden nursery nearby had the right atmosphere for location managers, police said. "The Isle of the Walking Dead" is the spinoff, it was confirmed by another source Friday, which takes place in a post-apocalyptic Manhattan.
