HOPATCONG, NJ — The Lake Hopatcong Grand Prix will bring offshore powerboat racing back to New Jersey in September.
The Grand Prix will run from Sept. 18 to Sept. 20, featuring three days of high-speed competition on Lake Hopatcong.
The event will begin with pit activities at Lake Forest Yacht Club, located at 35 Yacht Club Drive in Lake Hopatcong, on Friday, Sept. 18.
Racing will continue with the Woodport Races on Saturday, Sept. 19, followed by the Main Lake Races on Sunday, Sept. 20.
Billed as "the fastest show on freshwater," the Grand Prix will showcase elite offshore powerboat racing and is expected to draw competitors and spectators for a weekend of thrilling action on New Jersey's largest lake.
Additional event details, including spectator information and schedules, are expected to be announced closer to the event.
