• Hopatcong Seeks Items For America 250 Time Capsule (patch.com) — Hopatcong residents and local organizations are being asked to help fill a USA 250 time capsule that will be sealed at Borough Hall on Oct. 24 and reopened in 2051. Groups can submit proclamations, letters to future residents, or photos by Oct. 20, with drop-off available through the Recreation Department or Mayor's office.
• Kean Delivers $1 Million in Federal Funds to Hopatcong for Lead Service Line Replacements (house.gov) — Hopatcong is receiving $1 million in federal funding to replace aging lead service lines along several borough roadways, aiming to improve drinking water quality and protect residents' health. Local and state officials say this initial phase is part of a broader effort to modernize Hopatcong's water infrastructure, reduce contamination risks, and enhance quality of life for families throughout the community.
