3 Police Officers Receives Prestigious Valor Award: See Here

PENNINGTON, NJ — Three police officers were recently officer were recently recognized for their heroic actions last week.

Hopewell Township officers Blake DeMeter and Michael Enriquez as well as Pennington Mark Caruso were awarded the R. Peter Hodge Valor Award by the 200 Club of Mercer County on June 10, recognizing their bravery in handling an incident in Hopewell Township in 2025

The R. Peter Hodge Valor Award is the highest honor presented by the 200 Club, a local nonprofit organization that provides assistance to police officers, firefighters, corrections officers, and rescue personnel.

"Their professionalism, courage, and dedication to serving our community exemplify the very best of law enforcement, and we are incredibly proud of their well-deserved recognition.
We would also like to extend our congratulations to all the law enforcement officers," Hopewell Township Police Department said in a social media post.

The recognition highlights the dedication and sacrifice often required in law enforcement and reflects the values of duty, integrity, and compassion.
