PENNINGTON, NJ - Pennington Borough's new Master Plan is headed to a public Planning Board meeting Wednesday, where it will be proposed for formal adoption.
The meeting is scheduled for May 13, 2026, at 7:30 p.m. via Zoom.
The plan has been more than two years in the making. All 12 elements of the document were conditionally adopted in prior public Planning Board meetings and are accessible through the Master Plan page on the borough website.
Borough Planner Jim Kyle and the Master Plan Committee guided the process, drawing on contributions from more than 70 volunteers representing borough committees, commissions, the Citizens Advisory Committee, the Planning Board, and borough staff.
A community survey conducted last summer drew 550 respondents, including 309 borough residents.
The new plan will replace Pennington's 1998 Master Plan, which officials describe as largely obsolete.
