HOPEWELL, NJ — Residents interested in supporting local wildlife don't have to look beyond their own backyards — that's the message behind an upcoming talk hosted by Friends of Hopewell Valley Open Space and Hopewell Township next month.
"Preserving the Valley and Growing Backyard Biodiversity" is scheduled for Tuesday, June 9, from 6 to 7:30 p.m. at the Hopewell Township Municipal Building Auditorium, 221 Washington Crossing Pennington Road, Titusville.
The program will explore how residential properties can contribute to wildlife preservation throughout the Hopewell Valley, with a focus on native plants and community conservation practices.
FoHVOS has partnered with hundreds of valley homeowners through its Community Conservation program to help residents restore biodiversity on their properties.
Registration is available here.
