HOPEWELL, NJ — Hopewell Township is celebrating a major economic development milestone as BeOne Medicines announced a $300 million investment to expand its Princeton West Innovation Campus, further establishing the Township as a center for life sciences, innovation, and advanced manufacturing.

The expansion includes the construction of a three-story, 145,000-square-foot manufacturing facility, adding small-molecule manufacturing capabilities to the campus, which currently focuses on biologics production. Once completed, the Princeton West Innovation Campus will total approximately 545,000 square feet.

The project has also received approval from the New Jersey Economic Development Authority (NJEDA) under the Next New Jersey Manufacturing Program, an incentive initiative designed to encourage major manufacturing investments, create high-quality jobs, strengthen strategic industries, and promote partnerships with New Jersey educational institutions. Eligible projects may receive tax credits of up to $150 million.

The expansion is expected to create 120 new high-paying jobs, providing a boost to the local economy while advancing BeOne Medicines' work in developing and manufacturing cancer treatments for patients worldwide.

"This is another big step forward on economic development in Hopewell Township," Mayor David Chait said.

"BeOne Medicine's latest investment at the Princeton West Innovation Campus will bring 120 high-paying jobs to our community and broaden our economic base. We would like to thank Governor Mikie Sherrill and the NJEDA for their support in making this possible."
